As with most copies of this edition, the title of Part I appears to be a proper title page: "Brevissima Relacion de la Destruycion de las Indias," 1552. This edition of Las Casas's works has often been mistaken for the scarce 1552 first edition, but is set in Roman, rather than Gothic, type.
